Problem with Yahoo fully connecting.

Attached is a screen shot of my Adium file menu.

The problem I am having is getting Yahoo to fully connect. As you can see from the screen shot that the Yahoo account says "cancel" and not "connected".

Here are more details:

All my Yahoo contacts are available and I can send and receive messages with no problems.
The Adium icon is constantly spinning in my dock as if it is trying to connect to Yahoo still.
I cannot add any new Yahoo contacts and when I try the option is greyed out only for Yahoo (this does not affect AOL, ICQ, et al)/.

I have searched and have never been able to find a solution. I need to add some contacts and this is preventing it.
