Twitter suddenly stopped working

Mac OS 10.5.8, Adium 1.4.5. As of yesterday, June 26, Twitter no longer updates my timeline. I can still send tweets and DMs, I just can't receive them. My Twitter contacts' statuses are their most recent tweet from when I launched Adium; they don't update either.

The error in the message window is "Unable to update timeline: Your credentials do not allow you access." I'm not sure what credentials it's referring to. I didn't change anything in Adium preferences or in my Twitter accounts.

My assumption is that Twitter changed something that Adium hasn't caught up with; I'm mostly just looking to verify this hypothesis by seeing if anybody else is having the same problem.

The other possibility: last night, my computer overheated and shut itself down (Mac laptops... ). Could the unexpected shutdown have messed something up in Adium? How do I find out if it did, what it was, and how I fix it?

I am also getting this problem, started yesterday and has not changed state. I have seen two other people who also have the same problem so it is an issue, I just don't know if it affects everyone.

It started working again today and I don't know why. I also would like to know how to apply the code posted above, in case it should happen again.

It looks like Twitter fixed the issue on their end. Is anybody still experiencing this issue?
