Cyberduck: help needed enabling SSL/TLS

Postby roelof » Mon Oct 17, 2005 2:53 pm

Hi,

I´m trying to connect to an FRP server that requires SSL/TLS.

In Cyberduck I have a L O N G list with ´encoding´ options, and I see a check box in my preferences but that darn server KEEPS telling it needs SSL/TLS.

I´m a newb so ........ how do I do this in Cyberduck ?

Well, this has nothing to do with character encodings. Choose "FTP over TLS/SSL" from the protocol dropdown menu in the connectio dialog.

I tried what you suggested, and I now appear to be able to log in successfully, but I immediately get an error message from Cyberduck saying:
FTP Error: Listing directory failed
/
Server cannot[ accept argument

Am I still doing something wrong? I'm using Cyberduck 5 3.2.1 (4923)
