Cyberduck Synchronisation problem

Postby TelexStar » Thu Feb 12, 2009 8:37 am

I’m having a problem using the Cyberduck (latest version) sync function. I’m trying to synchronise a local folder on my mac (called ‘www’) with a folder on my web host, also called ‘www’. It appears to be skipping over all the files and then reports a “Transfer Incomplete” message and doesn’t copy anything up. If I copy the files manually, it works fine, but I want to set it so that it only copies changed files.

The same function with Transmit works perfectly.

Does anyone have any ideas?

The sync feature is why I installed Cyberduck as Filezilla can't do it.

But I have exactly the same problem that you describe.

I am also trying to use the Synchronise feature to update my website. I only need to update 425.9 Kb and I keep getting the Transfer Incomplete message. It is obviously reading through existing files to see which ones need to be updated, then zilch. Anyone out there help?

I never found a solution and ended up switching to another application called "Transmit". It's not free but it works perfectly and has a sync option that works far better than Cyberduck.
