Calls to theplanet.com during FTP upload

Postby Buzzy » Sun Jan 18, 2009 4:04 am

I am new to Cyberduck (3.1.1). So far I am very pleased with it's performance. However, during several FTP uploads I noticed that it was trying to connect to 32.ba.364a.static.theplanet.com. Any ideas Why? Is it phoning home to track it's use? If so what information is it collecting?

I discovered this using Little Snitch on a Mac. Any information is greatly appreciated. My apologies if this has been covered, I could not find it.

Thanks,
Buzzy

Probably that is the host your are uploading your content to? 32.ba.364a.static.theplanet.com is probably the hostname returned by the reverse lookup of your server's IP address.
