Corrupting files while downloading/uploading with cyberduck

Postby Knuty » Fri Feb 29, 2008 7:17 pm

I encountered the problem twice, independent what kind of ftp/tftp I used:
1. when I uploaded my Joomla system to my host (hosteurope) it sais "Transfer incomplete" - even worse: when I execute some PHP files there were errors because of some code duplication

2. when I downloaded a css file, '<tab>color: #f0f0ff;' became '<tab>color:f0f0ff"' (inserted a double quote at the end) this corrupted the css style sheet.

Any Idea how to prevent that? Is that a bug?

thanx

I have a similar issue. i uploaded an quicktime movie to my own ftp using cyberduck and two persons told me that it was corrupted when they downloaded it.
another client uploaded some .zip files to my ftp today and when i downloaded them with cyberduck i wasn't able to uncompress them. i tried then with a demo version of fetch and they downloaded and uncompressed automatically with no problem at all.

I'm using cyberduck's latets version 3.1.2 (4500) on Leopard. if anyone knows how to fix it it would be greatly appreciated, if not, this is a good suggestion to fix in the next update.

Best,

D.
