Notifications with Thunderbird 3.0 Beta 2 with OSX

Postby Tonda » Sun May 17, 2009 7:58 pm

Hi,

growl was installed system-wide under OSX. Now i try out the Thunderbird Beta 2 and growl shows a notification if a new message arrived into inbox. I have create many folders with automatic filters in Thunderbird.

The problem:
If a new message arrived and the filter sort it into the right folder, growl don´t show a notification. I don´t find a setting to monitor all folders with growl.

Is there a way to get rid of this?

Regards,
Stefano

There should be a way to only alert on certain folders, at least ideally... Any suggestions?

I suspect that the issue is dependant on when Thunderbird triggers the Growl message and won't be configurable from Growl itself.

That's a thunderbird thing. Growl only displays what it is sent.
