I am curious, how should the ipad version use the extra screen real-estate?
I always clear out my notifications once I have read them, but I guess if you kept them all then you could have a split pane view with list of "registered applications" on the left (and an ALL entry), tapping on each one would filter the list of notifications on the right.
Any other suggestions? :)

I would like to see more information at the same time on the screen.
Also, I would like to use the iPad in landscape format.

it could look similar to the Settings.app and also store locally the alerts (including time received) instead of always fetching them from the server. You could mark messages as moved (to local) or just delete them?

Not too bad looking. However, I want to do something super custom for the iPad. I've got some mockups I just need to implement them, and I think people will be pretty happy.

Perhaps for the next release I'll do a semi-iPad release like the above, before getting a full blown version done.

I can't wait to see what you come up with using the screen real estate on the iPad. This current set up works great for viewing large amounts of text sent to Prowl via my MBP using the Chrome extension and the Mac menu extension. Still one of my most used apps on both my iPhone & iPad. Glad to see an update.

I have recently downloaded this app and look forward to it's possibilities now having got the php side of things working for a micro controller project.

Owning both the iPhone and iPad, I too would love to see a universal app created making use of the iPads extra real-estate.

Keep up the good work and any estimated time scale on an iPad version and will it be a separate app or universal.

Regards,

Steve

Although my direction is iPad support, I am going to bang out at least 1 or 2 more 1.2.x releases to correct some issues with iPhone. After that, I expect the iPad release will be universal.. it would be a lot more server-side code to deal with two separate apps, so I have a good incentive to keep it universal.

I do not want to give a time estimate. "Sometime after the next small release is out" I'll begin work on it.

The FullForce solution looks decent, as most uses of FF do. I would be happy with a simple Universal layout that looks similar to that for now, while work continues on the developer's true vision for the iPad.
