How can I turn off the notification sound in 3.2.0?

How can I turn off the notification sound in 3.2.0? It scares the hell out of me and can wake up people sleeping nearby.

Open System Preferences > Notifications, scroll down the list to find Vienna, then Uncheck 'play sound for notifications'.
