'Cannibal' feeds

Postby champacs » Thu Dec 17, 2015 5:18 am

For the past two or three days some feeds have been cannibalising other feeds:
I have over 100 feeds in Vienna. Recently, when Vienna refreshes, the last 25 posts of one or two feeds show up in 5 or 6 other feeds, where they have no reason to be.
The feeds that this happens with change every time, although the 'cannibalising' feeds and the feeds that are 'cannibalised' always seem to be more or less the same ones.
I'm using Vienna version 3.0.9 on a Mac running version 10.8.5.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give me to solve this problem.

Apparently I'm the only person this has happened to (still happening since my post in December, two months ago)?
Nobody else has the same problem? Or maybe I haven't explained it very well?

Does the problem persist when you deselect and reselect the feeds ?

I also suggest that you reindex your database.

When you say "deselect and reselect the feeds" do you mean going into "Get Info" for a feed and unticking then reticking "Subscribed"?

I've reindexed the database, and will let you know if the problem persists.

No, by "selecting", I just meant reading another feed, then going back to the one previously read.

No that doesn't change anything
