Vienna crashes

Postby bugreporter » Sun Aug 31, 2014 8:12 pm

Mac OS X 10.7.5 on mid 2008 MacBook (4 GB of RAM)

Vienna 3.0.0 RC 5 :074fec8:

About 40 RSS feeds, all worked well, until a few days ago, Vienna crashed on refresh. On restart crashed again. If disconnected from the internet, Vienna doesn't crash and starts normally until re-connected and feeds refreshed.

Experimentally, identified a feed that causes the crash:
<outline htmlUrl="http://widget.websta.me/rss/n/natarya" xmlUrl="http://widget.websta.me/rss/n/natarya" type="rss" description="WEBSTA's RSS Feed - Websta is the best Instagram Web Viewer" text="@natarya - WEBSTA"/>

This is an instragram reflector to RSS, however this is not the fault of the service, and other instagram feeds work normally (You can compare and contrast with
<outline htmlUrl="http://widget.websta.me/rss/n/nao1223" xmlUrl="http://widget.websta.me/rss/n/nao1223" type="rss" description="WEBSTA's RSS Feed - Websta is the best Instagram Web Viewer" text="@nao1223 RSS | Webstagram"/>
that works without problems. )

If "natarya" RSS feed is removed, Vienna starts up and refreshes as expected, with that feed re-added, Vienna starts crashing on start-up again.

Suspect that something in formatting of one of the recent posts causes bad things to happen, and would appreciate if someone would take a look at this before the instagram feed rolls over, and post triggering problems disappears.

Thank you!
P.S. <rant>Why the heck e-mails from yandex.ru, used by millions of people in Russia and around the world, are banned from signing up for the forum? Why did I have to use mailinator, a disposable e-mail address, just to submit a bug report? Like, what's the logical reasoning for this?</rant>
