Vertical Layout - Doesn’t need column headings

Postby iandean » Thu Sep 19, 2013 10:20 am

The vertical layout really doesn’t need column headings, it actually quite cumbersome.

I list/sort all my articles by date, unfortunately often when I go to click the first article in the list I somehow press the column heading (I’m normally quite good with a cursor, so Ive no idea how it happens so frequently in this program). The only column heading viewable in vertical view is “Headlines” so all of a sudden everything is sorted in alphabetical order by the headline. It’s then a three click process to set it right again (and that takes time since I never instictivly remember where the sort setting is in the menus).

Since there is only actually one column heading in vertical view, it seems completely unnecessary for it even to be there.

Removing it will save space, accidents and clean up the interface a little.

I’ve highlighted in the attached picture what Im talking about
