'Your browser is set to incognito mode"

Postby hbowman » Mon Oct 28, 2019 6:45 pm

Some of my RSS feeds are news blogs that contain links to online MSM news articles. Often when I follow one of these links inside Vienna, I get a content-blocking page claiming, "Your are using a browser set to private or incognito mode." If I click on the same link with "Open link in Safari," this doesn't happen.

I have reviewed my Vienna preferences, and I can't find anything that would even control this, much less something I have set to cause it. Can I do anything do fix this problem, or is this something that needs to be fixed in Vienna's code?

I came here today to report this problem, only to find I had already reported it, and apparently no one had anything to offer in the meanwhile. Really?

Hello, not sure if Vienna is still in active development, as it has been quite some time since the last update..... but I can concur with this issue! It happens every time I try to access the New York Times feeds.

Thanks to anyone who can shed some light!
