Welcome to the Adium Forums. We get a lot of questions from a lot of good people, but sometimes they are the same questions, so I'm hoping this will help you find what you are looking for easily.

Troubleshooting
1. Before you post a new topic or reply concerning requests, features, bugs, or problems with Adium, please search the Adium Wiki documentation: WikiStart.

2. On the Adium Wiki you can also find "Frequently Asked Questions" that might answer your question (for example why Adium currently does not have Webcam or Voice/Video support).

3. Check out the Troubleshooting Tips.

Reporting a bug
1. Read the Forum Rules first.
The forum rules are easy to follow and make life easier for other forum users. If you don't follow them your post will probably be deleted.

2. Say what version of Adium you're using, and on what operating system.
You can find the version in the 'About' dialog in the "Adium" menu.

3. Post a recipe, if possible
Since there are a thousands of Adium users and only a handful developers, it's likely that the developers haven't encountered firsthand the bug that you've found. So poke around a little bit: If you can figure out how to trigger the bug, give us a recipe so that we can trigger it too.

When can we expect version X?
This one is a common one, too; devs work with list of features and when they're implemented then there will be a new version.
