I have the latest Adium version 1.3.8 but it keeps changing me display name back to my original Hotmail name.

Read here that it has been fixed with the latest Adium but It's not fixed for me?

It would be good if somebody could help me with this

Went for the beta... Still resets the msn username i'm getting tired of msn, its a shame that everyone around here uses that crap...

Hi. I recently reinstalled OSX, and loaded Adium. I got a message from my Mom, asking me what her display name was set as, because she was noticing that her and my sisters nicknames are set to thier msn email account, and not their display names.
I checked mine, and mine is doing this as well.
I can change it in Adium, but everytime I restart Adium it goes back to my email...

I followed the suggestion given by the guys on the Adium twitter account.
Went to passport.net logged in and changed the name over there, it resets it anyway, but at least shows the name i put in passport.
Luckily i'm not one of those that change the name a lot, so i'm good...

Yes, but the Pidgin thing is not clear for me... and is it so difficult to make it work with adium? it is very annoying....

Not by me, it doesn't show my display/nick name to other people... It Just shows my email!
