[1.5.10.4] Crash on open (Sierra 10.12.6)

Postby Sefer » Mon Oct 09, 2017 7:47 am

The instance crashes as soon as I try to open it. I upgraded from Yosemite where it was working fine.

Any news on this. How do I fix this issue? I am running a more or less Sierra 10.12 config and adium, too. Nothing modified except the toolbar icon to be black/white...

Looks to be crashing when the client is requesting a SSL cipher.. Do you have any auto-connect services, that could explain the crashing as soon as the program opens.. Maybe removing your preferences (or where ever the connection information is stored) and then add the servers back one at a time..

Tried moving "/Users/username/Library/Preferences/com.adiumX.adiumX.plist" but didn't work. What should I remove to start from scratch?

No idea on what to remove.. You can try using AppCleaner <https://freemacsoft.net/appcleaner/> to see if it will remove all the files..
