Re: filename change during transfer rule possible?

Would it be possible to add a feature that lets you alter the filename/extension of a file of a certain type to appease the fickle nature of some FTP servers? I have an application that generates a file filename.param that stores the parameters of the folder. It is not really necessary to put this ...

Re: Amazon CloudFront Question

Sorry to be pushy! I would just like to understand if I need to actually prepare the distribution on the AWS side, or Cyberduck will take care of this. Can somebody point me in the right direction? Many thanks in advance. Cheers I have opened http://trac.cyberduck.ch/ticket/3068 for this issue. I a...

Re: Create a plugin/extension for Cyberduck?

There is no plugin mechanism but you could extend from the existing FTPPath and FTPSession classes and register a new custom protocol for this. Check out the source code.

Re: Cyberduck Changing My Permissions?

By default, permissions are changed after an upload to the permissions you gave to the file on your local machine (in the Info window in Finder.app). For example if the file in Finder.app has no Read Only flag for everyone it will have no read rights for Others after uploaded to your webserver. Most...

Re: deleting files

The system reports files that don't seem to exist at all. Try without the STAT feature enabled. Refer to http://trac.cyberduck.ch/wiki/help/en/problems#ListingdirectoriesfailsorshowsnocontentFTP on how to disable sending the STAT command.

Public key authentication is a authentication mechanism that can be used to authenticate yourself to a SSH server instead of a username/password credential.

Re: Calls to theplanet.com during FTP upload

Probably that is the host your are uploading your content to? 32.ba.364a.static.theplanet.com is probably the hostname returned by the reverse lookup of your server's IP address.

Re: Amazon S3 and folders

First I'm running v3.1 (4448) on a 2.33 GHz C2D MacBook Pro, Mac OS X 10.5.5. When I drag a directory to my desktop, all I get is an empty folder with the name of the directory. When I click Cyberduck's Download button, I get a folder with the name of the directory, but I can't open it because it's...
