Get a keyboard macro program like Keyboard Maestro (http://www.keyboardmaestro.com) and you can define your shortcuts any way you want.

Re: App Hanging Force Quit

47,000 unread articles? When are you ever going to read them? First thing I'd try is to get that number down, way down. Be realistic and just right click on some of your least read feeds and select "Mark all articles as read" As soon as I reach 2K - 3K unread articles I start pruning. Try ...

Do you have many unread articles in your subscription lists? Is the Trash quite full? I had the same problem once and nothing cured it other than creating a new database and importing the preious subscriptions via an OPML file. You can try re-indexing your database following these instructions: http...

Re: RSS fails on Vienna, verifies on Safari

The RFC-822 date format often causes confusion, it's not the same as a PHP or Unix date format, it's slightly different. A date returned by php (for example) needs to be manipulated a bit to get it into the RFC format.

Has the URL for the feed changed? Go to the web page in a Vienna Tab and click the RSS button on the right of the location bar and see if Vienna creates a new feed.

I know. I'd just prefer to do it all with the mouse.

Request - Right Click on opened tabs

I miss the ability to right click on a tab to close other opened tabs. Obviously Vienna doesn't need all the Safari options offered when clicking on a tab but closing others and maybe offering to open a new tab would be nice.

You can do this with CSS in the Style.

Check out the CSS in the Feedlight styles for examples.

Re: how to view the rss source?

You can right click on the subscription feed and you'll find an option to view XML source, it'll open in a new window. It's not a very pretty display though. I prefer to use Firefox for this (I've set it so it doesn't use Vienna as the RSS viewer by default). You'll get a nice clean display of artic...

It could not be a more flagrant rip off.

Here's the link to report the violation, http://www.apple.com/legal/internet-ser ... renotices/

Sounds like you're looking in the wrong Library/Application Support folder, there are two Library folders, one at root level (/) and one in your user account /Users/yourshortusername/Library. On Lion the user library is hidden by default, you can use DesktopUtility (and other similar apps) to make i...

The url is confusing, I can't tell what they're trying to do.

This works fine - http://www.heise.de/newsticker/heise-atom.xml except it does not provide the full article, just the summary.

Re: Ten hours of articles missing after restart

I noticed that when I checked the RSS feed itself but why, then, do all the articles load in Google Reader? Is it because Reader is web-based? Because Reader never turns off, it just collects articles endlessly. So even if a refresh only contains 25 items it can build a continuous stream because ha...

Well, no offense, but I'm rather asking: How will this fix the issues I've mentioned above? I'm not one to blindly install stuff, and if you imply that it doesn't change anything, why are offering the download? "Here, try this", without much context, doesn't inspire much confidence :\ I c...
