Re: Quite a memory hog

Hi,

now I have macOS High Sierra 10.13.1 beta; it was 10.13 at the time.
Vienna 3.1.16
Number of subscriptions: 61 (according to message from Export command)

Vienna had been running for some time, maybe 2-3 days without closing.

Awful looking view

Hi, one RSS provider decided to enhance their article by putting a star in the headline when it's free to read in its entirety. This, however, messes up the display in Vienna. See screenshot : https://www.dropbox.com/s/1xcdwdnrgat4wxl/Screenshot%202017-04-10%2021.19.27.png Any way to fix this? I alr...

I have that too, since some weeks already. Maybe something in 10.12.3, since I've been on the beta.

Why OpenGL?

I have noticed that Vienna is one of few applications that prevents me from switching to the integrated graphics adapter on my MacBook Pro mid-2010. This means that battery usage is higher than necessary. The other applications are Thunderbird and LibreOffice. I have understood that this is due to (...

Re: Notifications from Avast

It's getting more annoying, since it happens every 30 minutes when new posts are retrieved. Is there something I can do to get rid of this ?

I'm sure it's nothing dangerous, just slightly annoying.

Re: lefigaro.fr pages not displayed

That was it! JavaScript enabled and then it works. A bit strange way of making a web site, though.
Thank you very much!

Lately Vienna has stopped displaying the pages of lefigaro.fr The RSS feed works as it should, and the summary part of each news item is shown as it should. But when I click on the heading in order to read the whole story in a new tab, only ...

Re: Vienna 3.0b.2820 : memory leak?

Now, two days later, it's back to 1.22 GB !
It seems that every refresh increases the memory footprint.

Re: Vienna crashing on Mountain Lion

Latest version of GIMP does not require X11 anymore. I have had my share of crashes under Mountain Lion with latest beta, but this morning the problem is different: Vienna 3.0 beta 2819 will not start. The dock icon jumps once, and then nothing happens. I rebooted but no change. Vienna 2.6 starts an...
