Re: Launchable Application List Requests

I would like to vote for SIAX :) For now im gonna build a perl script for asterisk so we can get push notificacions on incoming calls.. now if we can just get prowl to autolaunch siax so we can pick up the call.. that would be GREAT (so we wont require to be running it with backgrounder) I wrote a ...

Re: Launchable Application List Requests

I see that GV Mobile is in your list of not having a URL Scheme but is adding one. Does adding a URL scheme require an update to the app? Because GV Mobile was pulled for the App Store by Apple I'd have to jailbreak to download an update for that app, and isn't there problems with Prowl and jailbro...

[Feature Request] Redirect to custom URL

Hey, I love the new redirection stuff, but it would be really useful if we could redirect to custom urls. There are 2 ways this could help a lot of users: 1. I usually don't post most of my apps to the appstore because they are only useful to me or really incomplete and not ready to be used by the p...

Re: [Feature request] Custom actions when viewing notifications

I second that, it would be great if we could configure an url to be executed when a notification arrives, ie mail://something or http://something, even custom application urls like irc://something... I'd love to be able to open my sip application when receiving a caller id request for instance.

Re: what are people doing with custom notifications?

I have asterisks both at home and at the office. I usually have my iPhone with me at all times, but not my phone, so I send caller id from asterisk at home to my iphone using a custom script, and at the office using growl. This has the added benefit that I don't receive notifications when I am at my...

Re: Feature request - no notifications if iPhone is docked

I don't think that's possible, if you are only using growl notifications you can set it up not to send to prowl while you are using your computer though.

Adding asterisk notifications to prowl

My code is based on growlsend.agi and uses WebService::Prowl from Sekimura. You will need to install Asterisk::AGI and WebService::Prowl from CPAN or similar sources. First create a file named /var/lib/asterisk/agi-bin/prowlsend.agi with the content: #!/usr/bin/perl use strict; use warnings; use Ast...

Re: Growl, Prowl and Customized iPhone Notifications Using Perl

Amazing, I was going to program just that. You might consider adding that module to the FAQ?

[feature request] Notification timeframes

Now that we have priorities in the api, it would be great if we could add "sleep" timeframes configured in the web interface. I currently use prowl for two things: pushing when a torrent finishes downloading, and pushing the caller id for calls in my office (for when I am not there). The t...
