Re: GrowlMail not installing in Snow Leopard

Please run this command in a Terminal: ls -dl /bin/rm and post the output here. -r--r--r--@ 47584 4635108 wheel 0 Mar 17 2008 /bin/rm Right, yeah, so that's weird. I'm using an administrator account and I couldn't run "rm", which pretty much makes me feel dumb for not repairing permission...

Re: GrowlMail not installing in Snow Leopard

I have exactly the same problem: Uninstall script is not working at all. It starts and freezes immediately after it have started. No way to cancel it, but using the tasklist. That's not the same problem that I have - the uninstall script ran, then gave a permission error for me. What I'm more conce...

You'll have to do that separately. The...

GrowlMail not installing in Snow Leopard

I can't install GrowlMail on MacOS 10.6.1. I get a rather non-specific error message telling me to contact the software manufacturer. The install log is cryptic as well - apparently there was a problem with the preflight script, but I can't quite make out what that problem was. Install log: Sep 30 2...

Who do I complain to?

I know Logitech has a history of breaking other things with their Mac drivers, but wow. I had the same problem described here, and deleting the LCC Scroll Enhancer input manager did the trick. Thank you, thank you, thank you for posting that fix. Have the Growl developers... uh... growled at Logitec...
